THE BODY PROJECT
The Body Project 2026 is a body-positive photography exhibition by photographer Martine Payne, now in its third year.
Held this August in Bondi, the exhibition brings together a powerful collection of raw, intimate portraits of women who took part in The Body Project Day, photographed in May this year. Each image is presented alongside a deeply personal letter written by its participant, offering an honest and moving exploration of body image, self-worth, and the beauty found in vulnerability and diversity.
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the space through a curated program of women-focused creative workshops led by Jessica Davina, as well as a contribute to a free collaborative artwork celebrating the female form.

MARTINE PAYNE
Martine Payne is a Bondi Photographer who has been photographing portraits for over 12 years. In 2023 she created The Body Project, encouraging women to relate to their bodies with greater compassion - recognise it’s beauty, appreciate it function, resilience and own narrative.
JESSICA DAVINA
Jessica is an artist and art teacher from the Central Coast who focuses her workshops on the female form and runs a series of creative classes, helping women change their relationship with their body.

Life Drawing Afternoon

A creative and immersive afternoon in this women’s only class; drawing, creating and sipping champagne in the wonderful gallery space, supporting the celebration, the beauty and the power of the diverse female form. Includes all material, wine & snacks.

Body Printing Night

Personalised Paint & Sip
SUN AUG 23 / 2 - 7PM
Spend an afternoon immersed in a creative painting an image of yourself. Submit your selfie beforehand and let Jessica sketch out your photo in an easy paint-by-numbers style that will have you walking away with an incredible, fail-proof work of art of your own body. Your canvas comes fulled framed and the workshop includes bottomless bubbly and grazing table.
